Ugh, this is a hard song to translate, and translating it literally omits some metaphors and double-meanings (for example "tsukihi" means "time" literally but there's also the word "moon" in there, and since it gets in the way of the morning, that seems to hint at the eclipse). Also I'm not entirely sure how to translate "sugi" since I've never seen it used as a word on its own, but I tried. :/ So I'm not confident about this, but hopefully people can at least get the gist of it.
Time gets in the way of
the new morning that we finally found
Where we're headed isn't "next"
so instead I chase after "past"
The merciless memories that won't stop ringing
don't seem like they will forgive us
It must be soon now that conflict will spill over
across the cheek tired of fumbling in the dark
Will the rain stop someday?
It's been cold for so long
Why does the rain choose me?
Is it okay if I'm enveloped by it?
Though the rain will continue falling even today,
not knowing to stop,
inside the umbrella gently offered to me,
I will be nestling up to your warmth
RAY OF LIGHT
Though I'd decided not to cry
ever since that day,
even if I pile all the pain together
I still could not allow for something
All those days
that I cannot return to anymore
As I'm still unable to do anything,
yet another fragment of memory that you were in
I want to be stronger
than I am today
so that someday my voice will reach you
As I continue walking,
if the wind dies down,
I'll look up at the sky looking for you
Beyond the dawn, there will be a ray of light
A rainbow will arch
