Kirsten: All right, back!
Me: I already read the first page actually XD;;
Kirsten: I'll read the first page now! *_*
Kirsten: *Okay, on the second page now!
Kirsten: *is typing with one hand*
Me: gah Hohenheim is so cute
Kirsten: What page are you on??
Me: suddenly he's all cleaned up :D
Me: on page 4 now....yay Bob!
Kirsten: ...That's "Bob," not... yeah.
Me: "I don't even have a family yet but I already have a child, huh?" that's....so cute. I hesitate to say Hoho+Bob BFF because I know this will turn out badly D:
Me: hmm, if Bob leaves the flask, he'll die...
Kirsten: ...Somehow it seems weird to see English being used in Xerxes...
Kirsten: *referring to Bob saying "community
Me: yeah o.o
Me: aww Bob is being taken away : (
Me: Bob is so sarcastic. he seriously reminds me of Hermes from Kino no Tabi, just less whiny.
Kirsten: I find it somehow hilarious that a little black blob is having an audience with the king.
Me: man, even the Xerxes guys were obsessed with immortality
Me: yes XD
Kirsten: Perhaps Arakawa is trying to make a point that it's human nature to wish for eternal life...?
Me: I guess
Me: ....I don't think those trenches are for a waterway. is the king making them dig a transmutation circle? o.o *on page 9*
Kirsten: I bet he is.
Me: it's really sad to think that these people are going to end up on Envy and stuff D:
Me: woaaahhh what's this? the guys who were digging the trenches.....OH SNAP.
Kirsten: Maybe Xerxes was destroyed because it was used to create a Philosopher's Stone!
Me: yeah o.o
Kirsten: Like in the anime except less retarded.
Me: so this proves that people need to be slaughtered at the points of the circle...
Me: omg the transmutation circle that Ed saw in the ruins!!!
Me: omg the king cuts his finger like Ed and Al did!!!
Me: OMFG Hohenheim suddenly has a beard!!
Me: omfg O.o
Me: WOAH WTF
Kirsten: WHAT PAGE ARE YOU ON?
Me: the flask is broken gasp!
Kirsten: fhgfkhgfkghHAHAHAHA I shouldn't be laughing but... the name "Willard" really amuses me.
Me: omg is he saying the names that he said when he took the stones out his body before? ;_;
Kirsten: I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE
Kirsten: hvjhlhgfkhgfhgdhg OMG
Me: BOB...no, FATHER created himself from Hohenheim O_O
Kirsten: I love how we kept calling him Bob even though he DOES have a real name?
Kirsten: Kind of
Kirsten: ...Should we start calling Father "Bob" now?? :OOO
Me: SURE WHY NOT
Me: I mean he hasn't technically fathered anyone YET :D
Kirsten: OMG YOU KNOW WHAT.
Kirsten: I BET HE'S RELATED TO BOBBY.
Kirsten: ...BOBBY IS PRIDE!!!!!
Me: woah whut. suddenly it flashes forward in time! o.o
Kirsten: That joke is never going to grow old, even though Pride's identity has actually been revealed now. XD
Kirsten: IZUMI! *_*
Me: it will live on along with Envy lightbulb!
Me: I like how Hohenheim drools in his sleep
Kirsten: And I like how that restaurant is called "Lunch"
Me: and how he wakes up only when Izumi calls him "bearded guy"
Me: man I missed Izumi so much ;_;
Me: oh snap he realizes she's done human transmutation?!
Kirsten: ...Ohhhhh snap
Me: HOHENHEIM KNOWS RENTANJUTSU
Me: PHILOSOPHER OF THE WEST :DD
Me: jeez, why couldn't Hohenheim have been this sympathetic with Ed? D:
Me: WOAHHHHHH WTF
Me: HOLY CRAP
Kirsten: ...DID HE HEAL HER???
Kirsten: ...WAIT A SECOND.
Kirsten: BE RIGHT BACK.
Me: "....Hohenheim. Just what are you...?!"
"A monster.......is what I'd like to say, but I'll tell you to the truth. I am a Philosopher's Stone that has taken the shape of a human named Van Hohenheim." :OOOOO
Me: she just HAD to end it there DX
Me: So...stuff we learn from this chapter:
-Ed and Al's dad is a PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
-Father/Bob is a HOMUNCULUS
-Never trust a homunculus, especially if it's grinning all the time.
Kirsten: So wait, what did Hohenheim do to Izumi?? *too lazy to try and understand it*
Kirsten: ...Hohenheim = anime!Al?
Kirsten: Except less RETARDED.
Me: he couldn't give her back her organs because that's a sign of her sin, but he re-organized her insides so that the bloodflow will be better
Kirsten: I thought that was it...
Me: and I have to go really soon if I'm going to make it to Anime Club and eat dinner D:
Kirsten: So that means a Philosopher's Stone can't undo the countereffects of human transmutation?
Kirsten: Not completely, at least.
Me: yeah, I guess
Me: like Father could have healed Ed's left arm, but he couldn't give him back his right arm, because Shinri-kun has it. so Hohenheim can't give Izumi back her organs because they're still behind the Doors...I think
Kirsten: ...Do you think they're just SITTING THERE behind the doors?
Kirsten: Because that's the image that just popped into my head. XD
Me: ...this still leaves the question as to what Father is trying to accomplish this time with Amestris. he's already got a body to walk around in, he's got plenty of Philosopher's Stones, so what else does he want now?
Kirsten: To surpass Truth?
Me: I imagine an Izumi version of Shinri-kun sitting there with just her organs floating there XD
Me: hmmm maybe!
Me: okay I seriously have to go now so I'm gonna post this chat to my LJ D:
Kirsten: That scene in chapter... 43 or whatever when Hohenheim was about to touch Ed while he was aslee- ARGH OKAY
Kirsten: YOU CUT ME OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF MY THEORY THOUGH DAMN YOU. >(
Me: okay HURRY HURRY give me your theory XD
Kirsten: So he was about to touch Ed - you think he was maybe like "I'll try to heal my beloved son DDDDD:" but then realized that he wouldn't be able to so he backed off?
Kirsten: Ahaha. Probably not, BUT.
Me: hmmmmm. I think he was still paranoid about just touching him. :O
Kirsten: Yeah, that was most likely at least part of it. I meant in addition to that... maybe.
Me: maybe o.o
Kirsten: Like "I want to heal him... but I don't want to touch him DDDD:... oh wait it wouldn't work anyway NM LOL"
