Oh wow, I really liked this episode! I wasn't expecting anything from it at all, but it had such great character moments and interaction, it kept me gasping and smiling the whole way through. :D Overall, I don't think this arc was a waste at all, because it continues the character development started in previous story arcs.
-Hei's attitude toward Kenji in the first half of the episode was kinda scary. O_O You could tell he was angry because he didn't even bother putting up the Li act anymore. And though he was merely being realistic about the situation, he also seemed really cynical and condescending too ("Li-san, you came back!" "Well it's my apartment. B|"). Hei and Kenji's situations with the Yakuza/Organization are pretty similar, so to Hei, Kenji was being very naive: "You don't understand anything."
-Hei also seemed to have trouble understanding why Kenji would go through so much for a Doll who couldn't even speak. This nicely parallels his relationship with Yin as well.
-Hei and Yin: She sensed that something was different about him. Does that mean she's watching over him all the time? Yin the stalker? XD Also, Hei and Yin teamwork FTW!!! And when Yin said the Doll was calling for help to save Kenji, and Mao said that it was impossible that the Doll would do it on her own, and then Hei simply turned to Yin and asked "What do you think?" *___*
-Misaki and Hei meet up again omg!!! This was so hysterical because she caught him shopping for women's underwear. XDDDDDDDDDDDD Introducing themselves inside a bathroom and now this? Could they get any more awkward? XDDDDDDD And when Misaki wondered whether he was buying it for someone, Kanami kept teasing her about looking so worried over it. XDDD
What's also interesting is that when she first saw him from the back, she recognized him as BK-201, but when she saw his face she recognized him as Li-kun. CHA-CHING! Maybe she'll actually figure it out someday! I also got the feeling in this episode that Misaki is starting to become obsessed with BK-201. o.o Well....now we have some evidence for a possible Misaki/Hei pairing.
-LMAO, Mao stalks Hei too? "I never get tired of watching you." XDDDD
-I thought Hei looked very cool helping Kenji. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it was so uncharacteristic of him, like he was actually helping out a friend.
-Kenji gave him his bike! OMG Hei's face when Kenji asked him to take good care of it, and Hei said "Yeah." Is it just me or did he look like he was on the verge of smiling? O_O
-I'm surprised that Kenji survived, and even got a happy ending! O_O A HAPPY ENDING, ON THIS SHOW?! And Dolls do have feelings, even the near-catatonic ones!!! The Doll smiling at the end was so AWWWW.
-Even more AWWW! Kenji sent Hei some food! And Hei asked the landlady to give some out to the other tennants, and the landlady told him to do it himself because that's what you do normally. And Hei was like "O.O? RLY?" AND THEN HE TAKES THE FOOD TO HIS NEIGHBOURS. Ending the episode with him knocking on the door was FANTASTIC. ♥
-The mission got CANCELLED! Is that a first? Hei didn't even get in trouble with the Organization this time. :O
HUANG ARC NEXT TIME! HELL YEAH FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *SO excited!!*
Romeo x Juliet Episode 18:
Well, the parts with Romeo are still lame and boring. I couldn't help but laugh whenever he was shown doing hard labor. XD And come on...he didn't have a solid plan before that old man gave him those seeds, but when the miners asked him about it he acted as if he had been planning it all along. 9_9
Other than that though, I really feel that this episode returned to the level of quality shown in the first 9 episodes. Hopefully it keeps up. And the Francisco and Curio interaction was really cute, but....did I understand this correctly? Francisco loves Juliet? Huh?? o_o;
BACCANO! Episode 2:
-Oh man, Isaac and Miria are HILARIOUS. I was laughing nearly the whole episode. XD They're so STUPID and I love them for it.
-Czeslaw is very intriguing to me. Or maybe I just have a weakness for creepy children who are really too mature but try to hide it. I'm looking at you, Conan >_>
-I also find Ladd amusing somehow. And Jacuzzi omg. XD He's so scared of everything. He's like constantly on the verge of tears and apologizing for every little thing, even when it's the other person who's in the wrong. XD And he's supposed to be a gang leader?? LOL.
-The Flying Pussyfoot story begins! Don't have much else to say other than that I'm looking forward to the next episode and this show has such a colorful cast of characters. :D
