Good news: My research project for Anthropology is over and done with.

Bad news: I suck at making posters.

Good news: I'm mostly done with my transmute_fluff fic.

Bad news: I stayed up all night writing it, so I overslept this morning and missed two classes.

Though I have to say, it felt really good writing all that. I had the idea for a while, but found it really hard to actually write. That happens a lot, when I'm just staring at the blank page on the screen. Last night, though, I had a sudden burst of inspiration just when I was ready to go to bed, so I grabbed some pen and paper and started writing.

And I haven't done any creative writing for a long while, so it felt good. One of the first things I'm going to do once I get back home is stay up all night and work on my original story with pen and paper. It's easier to edit and stuff when I'm writing on the computer, but the ideas just seem to come faster when a pen is in my hand, and it feels more satisfying counting by the number of pages I've written than by word count. Also, I'm always more inspired around midnight and the early hours of the morning. So rather than agonizing all day over not being able to write anything, I should try waiting until evening. (Of course, then mom will start ranting about the electric bill, but...)

I hope scans of the new Juushin Enbu chapter come out soon. I'd like something to cheer me up.
