Anyway, um.....AHIRU/FAKIR OTP. I'd read a ship manifesto or something for this pairing a long time ago, so I was looking forward to seeing their relationship develop, and it was so sweet. :D
I think what really sold me in the beginning was that the shoujo elements were actually believable, since it's set in the context of a fairytale story. And I don't like that much shoujo, so this went a long way in adding to my enjoyment.
I also really really like the idea of the characters in a story trying to create a happy ending for themselves. I loved Fakir's role as a writer especially. That just raised his cool factor 100 points. And LOL, Drosselmyer is such a sadistic writer. ♥
Also, Neko-sensei was hilarious. And Uzura was adorable. RABU-RABU-ZURA!
That being said, I'm not sure if I'm going to buy this. I mean, I want to, as it's one of the best shoujo series I've seen, but the monster-of-the-week formula got kinda irritating sometimes and there are too many other series I'm planning on buying already. D: Maybe when they come out with a boxset...
EDIT: Also, one of the fun things about watching anime on Youtube is reading peoples' comments. It's almost like being in a movie theater and hearing everyone's reactions. I loved how, after a certain point, everyone was saying "Why won't Ahiru ditch Mytho fall in love with Fakir already?!" XD
