I've chosen Don Quixote as my research paper topic.

It also happens to be what we're reading in World Literature at the moment.

Two birds, one stone. >)

EDIT: Based on clues in the novel, along with computations of the time it would have taken a man on horseback to reach the various locations referenced by the author, the team identified the place as Villanueva de los Infantes, a small town some 144 miles south of Madrid.

I've seen people do this kind of thing for various stories, but do they ever think that maybe it's a fictional place and that's why the author never mentions it? Intentionally?
Though I'm sure people don't care and do it anyway because it's fun and geeky. XD; Like how I went to see Platform 9 and 3/4 in London.
