Excuse me, I need to fangirl for a moment

Gawd, Mushishi has got to be one of the best manga-to-anime adaptions I've EVER seen. It's right up there with Monster. Reading the first volume of the manga has only affirmed that fact. I am amazed. It's absolutely perfect.

I wish this would be licensed and released in the US already. With many, many extras. I AM WILLING TO THROW MY MONEY AWAY PEOPLE, SO WHERE IS IT?!

This is going to be so, so, so, SOOOOO awesome!!

EDIT: You know, considering the fact that the only reason I didn't include Emma as one of the best manga-to-anime adaptions I've seen is because it ended right before all the interesting stuff happens, if the second season keeps the same quality, then it's sure going on the list now! XD

EDIT: And not to mention that Death Note and D.Grayman are going to come out as anime too! *__* So many things to look forward to!

Big Mushishi dump! Watch Episode 17 to find out how the Mushishi get their mail. XD I find the story in Episode 19 to be adorable; there's a certain scene that always puts tears in my eyes. Also, Episode 20 is a bit special in that it introduces another recurring character (she shows up in a later chapter of the manga) and the first Mushi that can actually be described as "evil."
