I loved the chapter lots. It's more that I was out all day and I am just mentally drained so that's why I didn't make a post. Plus all I could do would sqeee at Al/Mei and seeing Breda, Falman and Fuery again since I had no idea what was happening and I could just do that in comments like this. :3

Although I think it makes sense that Envy has a higher rank than Wrath since well he is older. Pride would have the highest rank of all. Which is amusing because he is acting as Wrath's son.

On a side note did you see that Canada is getting new Avatar tonight? What the hell is up with other countries getting it before the US all the time? Yeah I know we can watch it online now because someone will upload it but I actually you know want to watch a TV show the official way for once since it's a US show and I am a US citizen.

In my English class, we learned that the 7 Deadly Sins were ranked by how bad they were. Lust was #7, then Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and finally Pride. Dante also arranged the 7 levels of hell in the same way in his poem.

I don't think that'll have anything to do with their hierarchy here though, because Lust seems to be at the top right behind Pride- she's clearly above Envy and Gluttony at least. I think it has more to do with the order that they're born in.

Well, Lust and Gluttony are dead so they're not all that important then are they hurr hurr. If you put them at the bottom cuz they're dead, the other ranks seem pretty accurate, though Sloth seems like he's below Greed.

I can't read Japanese , s that affects my reaction. ;_;

And the raw came out at a crappy time, I think when most people were asleep.

And lack of Ed may be a factor.

It feels like an in between setting things up chapter, and those almost always seem to get less reaction than ZOMGAKSHON!!!1!twelve! chapters. Lots of little squees and non understanding. ;_; And I have a headache. I didn't feel like repeating stuff that'd just be me re-stating a shorter version of the summary. Well, except to say Winry looked a little sloppy in the background of the color title spread.

Ditto with the drained. And it came out to late. Plus since I didn't see any other reactions, I didn't want to spoil everyone. I had a quick look at fm-a.com and the reactions were more "It's so disapointing! There's no Ed, and the art sucks! *whine whine whine*". I miss ZOMGFTA's forums. ;_;

Wow, really? I actually enjoyed this chapter a lot more than I did Chapter 77. It just felt like more was happening. I mean come on, Hohenheim VS Pride! Briggs is under attack! Scar-tachi may be in danger! Rose looks adorable in her sweater! FUERY IS IN A WAR ZONE. ;___; All that in less than 40 pages!

way late in responding, but I didn't mean the art was bad, I meant it was grotesque, as in graphic.
Envy's mass of bodies melting... close ups of Marco's scarred face, blood and spittle dripping down with teeth knocked out... The upper half of Envy's body crawling on the ground as his true insect form pokes through his forehead...
Ugly/powerful images. I wish the anime could have started later so this chapter could have been animated.

someone on MY flist wrote that this chapter was boring without even looking at it, just glimpsing at summaries, because it had no roy, ed, riza, nor winry..... WTF?????? this chappie is made of PURE WIN!! so much happens, so many revelations, HOHO!! a fight with pride, 2 declarations of war, a traitor!!!! damn, people just don't appreciate good inteligent mangas these days:/

and true, sweaters are sexy and should be used more often XDDD actually i'm really amused how in first chapters, Liore was a hot desert city and now people there wear jackets and scarfs^^ it's so lovely to see details like that^^

and it's funny how Dracma's generals remind me of Russia XDD makes me want to see other nations surrounding Amestris^^;

WTF INDEED. O_O Actually, a while ago I was considering making a post on how the manga wasn't engaging me as much as before, even despite the Xerxes flashbacks and Ed getting impaled, but this chapter changed my mind. And it wouldn't feel that way once they're all put together in tankoubon form anyway.

Actually I don't think Liore was ever a desert city at all, that's just something the anime came up with. Whenever I reread the first two chaptes, I don't see any indication of it being in the desert, only that it's an industrial city. Plus Liore is located in the northern half of the East Area, so I'm not surprised that it's getting cold there now.

This chapter was realy awesome. Arakawa is clearly showing us what everyone is doing before starting a new arc. Well, nearly everyone, where's Havoc? T_T

Since the next blood crest should be done in a month or two (Amestris time), I'm pretty sure the last battle will be set in Pendleton in the West area. But I'm under the impression that Colonel Mustang and Major general Armstrong, if they continue to plan a coup together, may cause a civil war, thus helping the homonculi in their evil scheme. Hope I'm wrong though. -_-

Why do we have to wait for another month? ~_~

This is LaMontagnarde89 from the ZOMGFTA forums, and I have to say that this convo was great! I don't speak Japanese, so I understood all but the Japanese vocab part - the convo was still hilarious.

About the badassery of Hohenheim - right before the forums went down, I came up with a scale of badass moments that I really want to post to the forums, but they are still down! Is there any news as to why?

Hm... I just had to search more about that name Zampano and I found these:
